International Cultural Exchange in Agrisymphony IPB 2023

On Saturdays and Sundays, October 28-29, 2023, international students participated in the Agrisymphony IPB 2023 event. Agrisymphony 2023 is the series of IPB Anniversary events, which is the largest student festival at IPB University. At the event, international students introduced a variety of cultural, food, and clothing items from their home countries. The countries that participated in the event were France, Malaysia, the Philippines, Japan, Uganda, Gana, Pakistan, Yemen, and Syria.  The event made the students’ days fun.

“We had a Japanese booth, and we taught Indonesian people how to make “tanzaku” and gave them each name of Kanji. As soon as it started, many people came to our booth. Some of them wrote “Aku mau ke Jepang!” in tanzaku. I was so glad! I could enjoy other booths, so this event was my memorial event! ” Meiko Ibaraki University.

Agrisymphony 2023 event became a moment strengthened the relationship between international students and student buddies. In addition, it has expanded friendships with other IPB students. International students then expand their knowledge of various events in IPB and diverse IPB student cultures. This means that the agrisymphony event has many benefits for all parties.
