Directorate of International Education IPB University Hosts International Education Festival 2024: More than 1,200 Students Join Global Education Exhibition and Cultural Exchange Performance

On September 26, 2024, the Auditorium Common Class Room (CCR) at IPB University buzzed with excitement as the International Education Festival 2024 kicked off, hosted by the International Education Office (Direktur Pendidikan Internasional) IPB. Raise awareness of global education, facilitate cultural and knowledge exchange, introduce international study opportunities, and build networks between students and professionals. The festival also encourages cross-country collaboration to improve the quality of education and global skills of participant.

International Education Festival 2024 was officially opened by Vice Rector for Education and Students Affairs, Prof. drh. Deni Noviana, PhD, DAiCVIM. The Vice Rector for Research, Innovation and Agromaritime Development, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ernan Rustiadi, M.Agr also attended the event. Puji Mudiana, S.P., M.A (Director of International Education Office) and Prof. Dr. Toni Bakhtiar, S.Si., M.Sc. (Directorate Of General Education Competence) accompanied the two Vice Rector to open the event officially.

One of the highlights of the festival was the series of talk show and interactive sessions.  With more than 1200 participants from IPB University students across batch, members of the international student community, and invitation guests, the festival kicked off with an engaging talk show featuring Schoters by Ruangguru, Australia Relomate, DAAD (The German Academic Exchange Service), University of Queensland, and Malaysia Embassy. These esteemed organizations shared their insights on international education, highlighting the benefits of studying abroad and the diverse career paths available to students. Attendees were captivated by their stories and gained valuable information about navigating the global educational landscape.

The International Education Festival IPB University 2024 not only served as a platform for information exchange but also celebrated the diversity of cultures represented at IPB. Attendees enjoyed performances showcasing traditional dances and music that enriched the festival atmosphere.
