Farewell Party for International Students at IPB University: Honoring Their Return to Home Countries at Mulyaharja Thematic Tourism Village

On November 30, 2024, the International Education Directorate of IPB University hosted a farewell party for 27 international students who participated in the exchange program for the Odd Semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The event, held at Kampung Wisata Tematik Mulyaharja, marked the symbolic closure of their semester-long journey at IPB University. The farewell ceremony was officially closed by Puji Mudiana SP, MA, the Director of the International Education Directorate, who expressed gratitude for the students’ participation and contributions throughout the program.

The farewell party included an educational tour of Mulyaharja’s agricultural attractions. Students had the opportunity to engage in hands-on agricultural activities such as rice planting, hydroponics, and operating a plowing tractor. To add to the fun, a fishing game was organized, encouraging participants to experience local traditions and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the village. These activities offered a unique and memorable way for international students to learn more about Indonesian agriculture and culture. This farewell event marked the end of a meaningful exchange program, strengthening the global connections and cultural understanding among IPB University and international students.
