IPB Participates in Indonesia Higher Education Expo 2024, Indonesia Embassy in Dili

Dili, 23-26 October 2024 – The Indonesian Embassy in Timor-Leste successfully organized the Indonesia Higher Education Expo 2024. The event aimed to promote Indonesian higher education institutions to the international community, especially in Timor-Leste, and strengthen bilateral relations through the education sector. Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) became one of the active participants in this exhibition by opening a booth that attracted the attention of many visitors. The booth provided information on study programs, registration requirements, registration procedures, and various scholarship opportunities. In addition, visitors can also enjoy interactive information media such as promotional videos, brochures, and leaflets.

This exhibition is a promotional event and opens opportunities for collaboration between Indonesian universities and educational institutions in Timor-Leste. To support internationalization activities, the committee also encouraged participating universities to organize guest lectures with relevant speakers from the background of each institution.

This activity received a positive response from the local community. As an actively participating university, IPB hopes to strengthen its position on the international stage and attract more students from Timor-Leste. With the success of this exhibition, the educational relationship between Indonesia and Timor-Leste will strengthen, and more young people will gain access to quality education in Indonesia.
