LinkedIn Learning: Strategic Steps for Students of SV IPB Sukabumi Campus Towards Global Career Success

Sukabumi, December 6, 2024 – The hall of IPB Vocational School Sukabumi Campus was filled with the enthusiasm of students who attended the Seminar “Build Your Personal Brand on LinkedIn & Achieve Your Career Goals with LinkedIn Learning.” This event was held in a hybrid setting involving more than 140 active diploma students from semesters 1 to 7 who showed high enthusiasm for learning about career development in the digital era.

This seminar aims to equip students with an understanding of the importance of personal branding through the LinkedIn professional platform. In this session, students were invited to optimize LinkedIn as a strategic tool that can strengthen their professional image, build connections, and open wider career opportunities. Ms. Juliane, Account Director of LinkedIn Learning, delivered practical guidelines for utilizing LinkedIn features, from creating an attractive profile to using LinkedIn Learning to improve skills. In addition, participants were introduced to the importance of professional certifications that can add to their marketability in the workplace.

The enthusiasm of SV IPB Sukabumi students can be seen from the high participation in question-and-answer sessions and discussions. Belva, one of the participants stated, “This seminar opened new insights for us, especially in facing the world of work. We know LinkedIn can be a powerful weapon for preparing for the future.” This activity proves the commitment of IPB Vocational School Sukabumi Campus to supporting the development of student competencies. With this seminar, students are expected to be more confident and ready to compete professionally in the world of work.
