New Semester Kickoff! 🌏 Welcoming Inbound Students from Japan & South Korea 🎉

Bogor, January 17th, 2025 – IPB University welcomed the new semester by hosting inbound students from Kagoyama University, Japan, and Gyeongsang National University, South Korea. These students will be studying at IPB University for a period of 6 to 12 months. The Inbound Orientation program was designed to provide detailed insights into IPB University and its regulations for campus activities.

Welcoming Remark by Director of International Education

Puji Mudiana, S.P., M.A., the Director of International Education, delivered a welcoming remark to motivate the inbound students as they embark on their academic journey at IPB University. This was followed by a brief introduction to the university, presented by Alfiasari, S.P., M.Si., Deputy Director of Managing International Education.

The orientation was conducted in a hybrid format, as some inbound students had not yet arrived in Indonesia. In addition to the introduction to IPB University, the Directorate of International Education shared essential information about student life, including dress codes and commonly used modes of transportation on campus.

As a formal educational institution, IPB University requires all inbound students to register through the official portal at https://inbound.admisi.ipb.ac.id/Account/Login. This registration is essential for students to access campus facilities such as the library, Wi-Fi, and the learning management system (LMS).

The Inbound Orientation concluded with a Campus Tour aboard Moli (Electric Cars), covering key landmarks such as the IPB Museum, the Library, and the IPB Coin, an iconic symbol of IPB University. This program aims to help inbound students adapt smoothly to life at IPB University.
