IPB University and Novosibirsk State Technical University hold The 117th IPB Talk – AI in Biomedicine, Forestry and Agriculture

February 13th 2025 – IPB University, in collaboration with Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU), Russia, held The 117^th IPB Talk on AI in Biomedicine, Forestry, and Agriculture on Thursday, February 13^th 2025. This online seminar featured two experts from IPB and three experts from NETI who shared their current research results involving AI and its applications in various scientific fields. The event was attended by 260+ participants from various countries around the globe.

The session was opened by remarks from both the Indonesian and Russian delegations. “Today, we have a unique opportunity to present our scientific projects to each other. Exchanging ideas and interests can serve as an excellent foundation for creating new collaborative research groups.” says Prof. Sergey Chernov, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of NSTU, in his welcoming speech. Prof. Iskandar, as the Vice-Rector of Global Connectivity, Collaboration and Alumni of IPB, also mentions that the seminar marks a milestone on our academic and research collaboration between IPB University and Novosibirsk State Technical University, Russia.
