Chang Gung University Delegation Explores Academic Collaboration with IPB University

Bogor, January 23rd, 2025 – In a significant step towards strengthening international academic collaboration, a delegation from Chang Gung University (CGU), Taiwan, visited IPB University as a follow-up to the partnership initiated in 2024. The delegation was led by Jim-Tong Horng, Associate Dean of the College of Medicine, and comprised distinguished faculty members keen on exploring potential academic and research collaborations.

The visit commenced with a guided tour of the Museum and ARL Lab at IPB University, where the CGU delegation was introduced to the institution’s state-of-the-art facilities, innovative research, and ongoing projects. Following the tour, a formal discussion was held at the Rectorate Building, where representatives from both universities engaged in meaningful dialogue about prospective joint initiatives. The meeting was facilitated by Dr. Eva Anggraini, Director of Global Connectivity at IPB University, who highlighted key areas for collaboration. Among the discussed programs were double degree opportunities for master’s students, undergraduate student exchange programs, and joint research ventures in bioinformatics and biochemistry. These initiatives align with the shared vision of both institutions to enhance academic mobility and foster cutting-edge research.
