IPB University Signed MoU with Songkhla Rajabhat University, Thailand for Strengthening Cooperation

Bogor, February 5, 2025— IPB University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Songkhla Rajabhat University (SKRU) to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions. This event took place on February 5, 2025. The document was signed desk to desk by the rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria, and the president of SKRU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tusana Sirichote. Furthermore, during the ceremony, the document was signed and witnessed by Prof. Iskandar Z. Siregar as the Vice Rector for Global Connectivity, Collaboration and Alumni Relations, Dr. Irfan Syauqi Beik as the Dean of Faculty Economics and Management from IPB University and Assist. Prof. Dr. Pongsak Thongnueakhaeng as the Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences from SKRU. The meeting involved various academics from both institutions to discuss potential cooperation in multiple fields.

During the meeting, both universities discussed various collaboration schemes, including joint research funded by each institution, a two-week training program for SKRU students at IPB, and community service initiatives. Additionally, Assist. Prof. Dr. Thongnueakhaeng from SKRU emphasized the importance of student exchange programs. This collaboration is expected to benefit both universities in enhancing the quality of education, research, and community service at an international level.
