There are four possibilities to joint as student at IPB University:

• Exchange student
• Research student
• Internship
• Joint/double degree student

Application Steps

• Interested students should contact the International Office at their home university
• Home university sends the nominations by email to the international education office of IPB University.
• Nominated students need to fill the application form and register their application  before the application deadline.
• Once inbound students complete the application form, IPB will check student’s documents followed by issuing the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) and arrange the student visa issuance.
• The visa issuance process usually takes about ± 30 days. After the visa issuance, students may proceed booking their flight ticket to Indonesia.

Required Documents

• Complete online Application Form (EP-F01)
• Recommendation letter from academic supervisor at home/sending institution
• Official transcript (academic record)
• Certificate of health (issued a year before the date of departure or newer)
• Colored-formal photo with white background (4×6)
• English Proficiency Certificate (For non-native English speaking applicants)
• Scanned passport (cover and first page)
• Statement Letters (EP-F02, EP-F03, EP-F04)
• Letter of Financial Guarantor (EP-F06)
• Research proposal (only for research exchange student)
• Copy of Bank Statement of Minimum 1500 USD or Equivalent
• Health Insurance
• Proof of COVID vaccination

Selection Criteria

• Be nominated by home university
• Registered as an active full time student at home university
• GPA min. 3.00 scale of 4.00
• Have english language proficiency test result for non-english native country
• Have at least completed one year study period at home university
• Have strong interest in living in Indonesia and ready to adapt in cultural differences

[Application]

1. Partner universities will select and nominate prospective students to IPB.
2. Nominated students need to fill the application form (https://ipb.link/ipb-app-form) and register (https://ipb.link/ipb-register-form) their application to the provided link before the application deadline.
3. Once inbound students complete the application form, IPB will check student’s documents followed by issuing the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) and arrange the student visa issuance. Please kindly let us know to whom we should address the LoA to (The name of the program coordinator).
4. The visa issuance process usually takes about ± 30 days. After the visa issuance, students may proceed booking their flight ticket to Indonesia.

[Dormitory]
We will apply for a student’s dormitory on behalf of the student according to their choice on the application. After their arrival, students will need to pay the fee.

On-Campus Housing

• International Dormitory IPB ( IDR 2,200,000 / month)
