About Inbound Program
Application Procedure for Inbound Students to IPB University
Interested students should first contact the International Office at their home university.
Partner universities will then select and nominate prospective students to IPB University by email to the International Education Office (email: incoming@apps.ipb.ac.id).
Nominated students must complete the application form and register their application before the application deadline via the following links:

Once the application is submitted, IPB University will review the documents, issue the Letter of Acceptance (LoA), and initiate the student visa process. Please inform us to whom the LoA should be addressed (e.g., the name of the program coordinator).
The visa issuance process typically takes ±30 days. After the visa is issued, students may proceed to book their flight ticket to Indonesia.
- Be nominated by the home university
- Registered as an active full-time student at the home university
- GPA min. 3.00 scale of 4.00
- Have English language proficiency test results for non-english native country
- Have at least completed one year of study period at the home university
- Have a strong interest in living in Indonesia and am ready to adapt to cultural differences
- Complete online Application Form (EP-F01)
- Recommendation letter from academic supervisor at home/sending institution
- Official transcript (academic record)
- Certificate of health
- Colored-formal photo with white background (4×6)
- English Proficiency Certificate (For non-native English speaking applicants)
- Scanned passport (cover and first page)
- Statement Letters (EP-F02, EP-F03, EP-F04)
- Letter of Financial Guarantor (EP-F06)
- Research proposal (only for research exchange students)
- Copy of Personal Bank Statement of Minimum 2000 USD or Equivalent
- Health Insurance
The courses for Odd Semester 2025/2026 will be announced.
We will apply for a student’s dormitory on behalf of the student according to their choice on the application. After their arrival, students will need to pay the accommodation fee.

Due to the limited capacity of on-campus housing, we can help you contact a private housing provider around the campus.
*International students who study for at least one semester at IPB may apply for the accommodation scholarship.
