Travel Grants & Living Cost Grants

The Travel Grants is financial assistance for active IPB students to support their partcipation in international mobility activitiues abroad by covering travel expenses as part of the credit earning program.*

Application Procedure


  1. Students applying for travel grants must make a travel grant proposal using the provided template.
  2. Cover letter from faculty, signed by Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs.
  3. Students who have registered their travel grant proposal via Google Form must also submit.
  4. DPI will assess and decide the approved funds.
  5. After your proposal being approved. DPI will contact you directly by whatsapp/email.
  6. Submit activity report, original payment proofs, copy id student ID, bank account, etc. for reimbursement.

Eligibility and Requirements


  1. Open to all active of IPB students (S1 Applied, S1, S2, S3).
  2. Applicable only for international mobility programs abroad with a minimum duration of one semester and credit earning oriented (Min: 10 SKS)*
  3. Student must  not receive full sponsorship from the Host University or Host Country.
  4. Prioritize for applied undergraduate (S0) and undergraduate (S1) students.
  5. Not applicable for short-term program, including:
    • Competitions
    • Volunteer activities
    • Field trips, debates, leadership programs
    • Excursion Program
    • Other non-academic activities outside the scope of academic programs coordinated by the Directorate of International Education

Funding


Four (4) types of expenses possibly covered:

  1. Flight ticket
  2. VISA
  3. Insurance (Health or Travel)
  4. Registration Fee (Conference, Symposiums, Seminar)

The Living Cost Grants is financial assistance to provide all active students of IPB University to support their international mobility activities abroad (credit earning program).*

Application Procedure


  1. Students applying for living cost grants must make a proposal using the provided template.
  2. Students must submit their living cost grant proposal before the activity starts or as instructed by the Directorate of International Education (DPI) through the provided link.
  3. Students who have registered a living cost grants proposal through Google Form are required to submit a hard copy of the living cost grants proposal and a cover letter from the Faculty to DPI.
  4. Selection will be made for students who have registered and submitted a living cost grants proposal both softcopy and hardcopy. Further information regarding the selection will be informed lated by DPI.
  5. The result of the selection of living cost grants proposals will be informed directly via student email after being approved by the DPI.
  6. After the proposal is approved, students need to submit the progress report (template is provided to the provided link.
  7. DPI will process the payment of student’s living cost grant after we receive your complete progress report.

    • International seminars/workshops/conferences
    • Competitions
    • Volunteer activities
    • Field trips, debates, leadership programs
    • Excursion program
    • Other non-academic activities outside the scope of academic programs coordinated by the Directorate of International Education

Funding


the amount of living cost assistance that students can receive is a maximum of Rp3,000,000 per month for a maximum of 4 months. The amount of funds to be received by students will be determined and decided by Directorate of International Education based on the proposal selection.
