Summer Course – Agricultural Industrial Engineering
The Summer Course TIN 2025 (SC-TIN-2025) is an international short course organized by the Department of Agricultural Industrial Engineering (PS-TIN), IPB University. This program aligns with the Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) initiative, which encourages students to develop interdisciplinary competencies to meet the evolving demands of the professional world.
SC-TIN-2025 is a three-week hybrid program running from July 13 to August 3, 2025, combining two weeks of online learning with one week of in-person field trips at selected agroindustry sites in Malaysia. The program is equivalent to 3 credits (0-3 SKS) under IPB 301 and consists of 140 hours of structured learning activities.
The course integrates various learning methods, including mentor training, online lectures, classroom-based sessions, field-based learning, hands-on practicals, independent assignments, team-based projects, and final presentations. Through these activities, students will gain both theoretical insights and practical experience in sustainable agroindustry, exploring both commercial and rural agroindustry models.
