TroFiSh 2026: Advancing the Blue Economy Through Sustainable Tropical Fisheries

Program Overview


TroFiSh 2026 is an international summer program centered on the theme
“Advancing the Blue Economy through Sustainable Tropical Fisheries.”
The program is designed to bridge academic knowledge with real-world applications by integrating interdisciplinary learning, technological innovation, and field-based experiences.

Delivered through a hybrid format, the program combines online lectures with on-site fieldwork in the Thousand Islands
(Kepulauan Seribu). Participants will explore key topics including marine ecology, sustainable fishing technologies, the Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management (EAFM), and coastal community resilience.

In addition, TroFiSh 2026 fosters international collaboration by bringing together students and experts from diverse countries, creating a dynamic environment for knowledge exchange and cross-cultural learning.
