Sustainable Agrifood Management in Indonesia (SAMI): Building Climate Resilient and Sustainable Agrifood Management Through ESG

Program Overview


The SAMI Summer Course is an international academic program that has been conducted seven times since its inception in 2017. The program is designed to enhance the competitiveness and reputation of educational institutions, expand global networks, and provide participants with valuable cross-cultural learning experiences. It also contributes to the internationalization of higher education through cross-border collaboration and academic exchange.

Program Objectives

  • To enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in specific academic fields.
  • To provide interactive and engaging learning experiences through a collaborative approach.
  • To expand international networks for both participants and the organizing institution.
  • To introduce local culture to international participants and strengthen cultural diplomacy.

The 2026 SAMI Summer Course will be held from 27 July to 15 August 2026 in a hybrid format. Academic sessions and project assignments, including an essay competition, will be conducted online. Meanwhile, selected program activities, such as site visits, will be organized offline to provide participants with direct exposure to local communities, culture, and field practices.
