Summer Course – Communication and Community Development Science

Program Overview

The 7th Summer Course SKPM 2026: Connecting Communities for Sustainable Rural Futures in the Digital Era is an international learning program that integrates academic learning, field experience, and cultural exchange to enhance participants’ understanding of rural development, development communication, and community empowerment in the digital era.

The program consists of interactive lectures on rural sociology, agricultural extension, development communication, natural resource governance, and participatory research methods, followed by a field study in partner villages where participants engage directly with local communities and develop mini projects based on real-world challenges.

Through collaborative learning, community engagement, and intercultural activities, the Summer Course aims to strengthen participants’ knowledge, practical skills, and global perspectives in promoting sustainable and inclusive rural development.
