Summer Course – Natural Resources and Environmental Management Science

Program Overview

The 5th International Summer Course on Natural Resources and Environmental Management (ISCoNREM) offers an interdisciplinary and cross-cultural learning experience under the theme “Tropics on the Edge: Solving the Triple Planetary Crisis from the Equator.” The program explores the interconnected challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution, with a focus on tropical ecosystems and sustainable solutions.

Participants will engage in expert lectures, interactive workshops, community engagement activities, and field visits to rivers, forests, and coastal areas in Bogor and Sukabumi. Through these academic and experiential learning activities, participants will gain firsthand insights into environmental challenges and innovative approaches to natural resource and environmental management in tropical regions.
