IED Goes to Vision Next: Introducing LinkedIn Learning Premium to IPB Students to Support Future Careers

Bogor, May 17, 2025 – The Directorate of International Education of IPB University was again present among students through the activity “IED Goes to Vision Next – Navigating Your Future: Smart Strategies to Build a Bright Career”. The activity held at Abdul Muis Nasution Building, Faculty of Agricultural Technology (Fateta) IPB took place from 09.30 to 13.00 WIB, and was attended by more than 100 IPB students across study programs and faculties.

This activity was part of a series of Vision Next career seminars and exhibitions, with the main focus on strengthening student career readiness through smart strategies and utilization of learning technology. One of the highlights of the event was an interactive booth from the Directorate of International Education that introduced the LinkedIn Learning Premium platform, which can be accessed for free by all IPB students.

Students were very enthusiastic to activate their LinkedIn Learning Premium accounts, asking about the types of courses available, the benefits of digital certificates, and how this platform can support their careers after graduation. Dozens of students queued to activate on the spot while consulting with the IED team regarding the right learning strategy.

One of the participants, Agung, a Fateta student, shared his experience after visiting the booth: “During my time as an IPB student, I just found out that there is free premium LinkedIn Learning access from the campus. This is a very valuable opportunity and I will not waste it. I want to learn more new things that can support my career.”

With more than 20,000 courses and interactive learning paths from world experts, LinkedIn Learning is expected to be one of the main weapons for IPB students to face the challenges of the world of work and the global industry.

This activity is part of IPB University’s commitment to providing access to global learning, as well as supporting students’ readiness for the future through the utilization of high-quality digital resources. Through an informative and interesting approach, the Directorate of International Education hopes that students will be more proactive in building competencies and professional networks early on.
