Dear Students and Partners
We are happy to assist you in applying study permit, ethical clearance and research permit, visiting visa, research visa and limited stay permit (KITAS).
Please fill in the following form so we can provide you with required documents for your applications:

Requirement for Study Permit :
1. Valid Nationality Passport at least 6 (six) months
2. Proof of living expenses of at least US$ 2,000 (two thousand US Dollars) or equivalent
3. Latest color photograph
4. Curriculum Vitae
5. Travel Itinerary
6. Guarantee letter from a guarantor, which is an Indonesian citizen or the educational institution where foreigners carry out education
7. Letter of acceptance from the educational institution in Indonesia that explains the length of time the foreigner will be enrolled in the educational institution
To apply for ethical clearance, you need to submit your application via https://klirensetik.brin.go.id/?lang=en. If you don’t have an account, please sign up.
If your institution has not been listed at BRIN, please register it through Aplikasi Sebaris https://sebaris.brin.go.id
Document required for ethical clearance and research permit :
- Research Proposal
- Valid Pasport up to six months prior submission
- Valid Cooperation Agreement / working contract with Indonesian Institution
- Guarantee letter from Indonesian research partner
- Fill in research ethics review forms (http://klirensetik.brin.go.id/)
Requirement for Research Visa :
1. Valid Nationality Passport at least 6 (six) months
2. Proof of living expenses of at least US$ 2,000 (to Thousand US Dollars) or equivalent
3. Latest color photograph
4. Curriculum Vitae
5. Travel Itinerary
6. Proof of guarantor, which is a research institution
7. Permit from National Research and Innovation Agency
Requirement for Visiting Visa :
1. Passport valid for at least 6 (six) months (for holders of travel documents other than passports such as emergency passports, documents of identity, etc. must be valid for 12 months).
2. Personal bank statement with minimum amount USD $2000 or equivalent the last 3 months period (including name, date of period, and balance account).
3. Latest color photograph.
4. Proof of guarantee from the guarantor
5. Letter of Invitation
