Entry Requirements
Academic Requirement:
• Candidates must be registered as PhD Double Degree (DD) students in Forest Products Science and Technology (ITHH) program at IPB University.
• Dissertation research focus in the field of wood science and technology.
Accepted Majors:
Wood Science and Technology
Language Proficiency Requirements:
• French Language Proficiency: B1 level France
• English Language Proficiency:
• TOEIC score ≥ 700
• TOEFL (ITP/iBT/CBT) score ≥ 500/80/213
• IELTS score ≥ 5.5 or other English certification equivalent to the above
Matriculation Requirements:
No matriculation
Minimum GPA:
• GPA ≥ 3.25 (out of 4.0) for IPB students
• GPA ≥ 3.50 (out of 4.0) for students from other universities.

Application Process
Application Period:
One primary application period per year.
• Mid-March: Application forms become available online.
• End of April: Deadline for submitting application.
• End of May to June: Applications are reviewed, interviews conducted (if applicable), and final decisions are made.
• September: Start of the academic year.
Tuition & Scholarships
Tuition Fee:
IPB University
• Tuition Fee (UKT*): 12,000,000 IDR per semester
• International Study Tuition: While studying abroad, 10% of the tuition fee is still required to be paid to IPB University.
• Application Fee: 750,000 IDR per student
Université de Lorraine
• Tuition fee: 391 EUR per semester
• Estimated living Expenses: 1,700 EUR per student per month
