IPB University Presenting CEBCAT Program at the 2025 Asia Hub and CIAERA Annual Meeting

IPB University showcased the CEBCAT program through a poster presentation at the Annual Meeting of Asia Hub and the Consortium for Innovations in Agricultural Education and Research in Asia (CIAERA) on the 29th – 30th September, 2025 in Bogor, Indonesia. The theme of the event, ‘An Interdisciplinary Approach to Water-Energy-Food (WEF) Security in Asia,’ is closely aligned with the objectives of the CEBCAT program. Attended by more than 200 participants, representing 81 institutions in 16 countries, this event provides an opportunity for IPB University to introduce the CEBCAT program to a wide range of participants. 

The CEBCAT program, supported by the European Union, is designed as a knowledge transfer initiative that bridges Europe and developing countries in Asia. By fostering collaboration between universities and institutions, CEBCAT seeks to strengthen academic capacities, enhance research and teaching quality, and promote innovative solutions to social, economic, and environmental issues, especially regarding the circular economy and sustainability.

At the poster presentation, CEBCAT representatives introduced the program’s vision, objectives, and activities to participants of the Annual Meeting of Asia Hub and CIAERA. Many attendees showed strong interest, engaging in discussions and asking questions about the focus areas of the initiative, its expected impacts, and opportunities for involvement. Several participants also shared positive feedback, noting that CEBCAT is a promising and valuable program that can significantly contribute to knowledge exchange and capacity building across Asia.

By presenting at such a strategic forum, CEBCAT was able to strengthen its visibility, build connections, and pave the way for future collaborations with institutions and partners interested in advancing knowledge exchange and capacity-building initiatives.
