IPB University Enhances Its Global Visibility Through Participation in QS Higher Education Summit Asia Pacific 2025

IPB University participated in the QS Higher Education Summit: Asia Pacific 2025 held at Korea University, Seoul, South Korea, from 4–6 November 2025. The event, organized annually by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), serves as one of the most prominent platforms for universities in the Asia-Pacific region to exchange insights, build collaboration, and discuss strategic directions for the future of higher education. IPB’s participation is part of the EQUITY Program under the subprogram “Participation in International Education Exhibitions/Conferences” supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, and the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education Agency (Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan-LPDP).

During the summit, IPB University showcased its commitment to global engagement by taking part as an Exhibitor. The university opened a promotional booth, which attracted significant attention from various international participants, including university representatives, policymakers, and higher education organizations. The booth served as a strategic space for IPB to introduce its academic strengths, research achievements, and international program opportunities.

The IPB delegation consisted of Prof. Deni Noviana (Vice Rector for Academic and Students Affairs), Prof. Anas Miftah Fauzi (Head of the Institute of Advanced International Research), Dr. Eva Anggraini (Director of Global Connectivity), and Dr. Dordia A. Rotinsulu (Deputy Director for International Program Services). Throughout the summit, the delegation actively engaged in discussions and networking activities with potential partners to explore opportunities for academic cooperation, research collaboration, and mobility programs.

Beyond the exhibition, IPB representatives also participated in panel discussions, workshops, and thematic forums that addressed key global higher education issues with the theme “Advancing Generational Potential: Skills and Partnership in the Asia Pacific”. These sessions provided valuable insights and strengthened IPB’s position to become a World Class University (WCU).

By participating in this summit, IPB enhances its network for potential international collaboration, which improves IPB’s academic reputation and international outlook. The event also reinforced IPB’s alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
